Words of Wisdom from the Interim Minister:
What a wonderful time of fellowship & worship we experienced Sunday. The tables were beautiful and so many people were involved decorating them and the variety was amazing. The children and youth did such a great job & the attendance was awesome, estimated at around 135. Laura & all who helped her did a great job, A huger thank you to Natalie who organized for us a wonderful breakfast and to all who fixed the food & served it. The excitement could be felt everywhere in the room as we joyously stepped out of the box & did something different to celebrate the coming of Christ in our world. There are just 2 other services that await us- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. I trust you will come as you are able. And then it is time to celebrate the closing out & dawning of yet another year. As we think about the New Year approaching together what God has in store for the future of FCC. As we began the Advent Season looking, preparing for Christ’s coming among us, we will now begin the New Year looking specifically at the ways God would have this congregation share in telling the Good News in this community and beyond. Discovering the Spirit’s leadership & nudging is called Discernment. To discuss the vision that God has in store for this congregation we will follow a process of discernment that includes the whole congregation and a team of people who will serve as the Transition Visioning Team. This team will be selected with congregational input. I will lay out for you the process will use to select this team in the first newsletter of the year. I look forward to this exciting journey of seeking God’s vision for F.C.C. Hope to see you at the upcoming times of worship

Thank You
The Worship Committee and I would like to send out a big “Thank You”. To all who helped make the brunch and children’s program this past Sunday possible. To the ones who decorated and hosted a table “WOW”, they were all breathtaking. To those who helped with the children and youth, you all have a gift from God. Those who helped serve and prepare the food, you are servants from God. Thank you again. And last but certainly not least we would like to thank the youth and children who participated in the program
With a Very Thankful Heart

“Give Thanks with a Grateful Heart”
Isn’t that how the song goes? Well, that’s exactly how I felt last Sunday, as I sat in my comfy chair, and listened as our youth presented God’s message to His people. Thank you God, Thank you for these young people and for all the folks that so faithfully teach them. May they continue to grow and be nourished in your ways. And thank you to all those who hosted a table. Everyone did a wonderful job with their decorations. It was beautiful.
Love and appreciation,
Anita Lespagnard

A Christmas Card & Letter from Hazel & Ralph Morgan
2011 Merry Christmas from Hazel & Ralph
This was a better year health wise. Ralph and I did not have as many doctor appointments this year. According to the doctors we are in good shape for our ages. We had our Christmas Open House on December 11, and have decided this will be the last one. It’s a lot of work for people our age. Soon we will look forward to the New Year, enjoying our family and friends, living the good life that God gave to us. Wishing you and yours a healthy and prosperous New Year.
