NOTE FROM THE PASTOR MILT
It is the month of May. May brings about a change in a variety of things. For one, yard work has a higher priority in our lives. It also brings about some changes in our lives and routine. Graduation is just around the corner, and with graduation on the horizon, it indicates school will be out for the summer.
With the beginning of summer a lot of things are put on hold until fall. It is a great time to take those trips to visit relatives and family we have not seen for a while. It is a time for ballgames, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
With all of these other things crowding in around us, let us not forget what should be our number one priority – our relationship to God and His son, Jesus Christ. Naturally we would like to see you in worship on a regular basis. Invite your house guest to come and worship with you. You all will receive a blessing.
Out traveling somewhere on Sunday, plan to stop and worship somewhere. You might learn something that you could bring home with you. Bring a bulletin back with you to share about your trip.
We might take a vacation, but remember God is on call 24/7.
Blessings be with you all. Milton Bryarly, Interim Minister

Come visit our booth at the Sprignanigans Kid Festival this Saturday May 9, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in the W.W. Hays Village Historic Park located just south of Grand Ave. along Main Street. We will be doing face painting and selling homemade cookies. The money that we raise through this venture will go towards supporting Amos Salala, the boy our group adopted through World Vision's Compassion program.
Sunday, May 24, the youth will be leading our worship service. There will be a carry-in dinner after the service and our first-ever dessert bake-off. So ladies and gents dust off those recipe boxes and don your aprons and lets see whose efforts are worthy of the title of FCC's Favorite Dessert! Keep watching for more details.

THANK YOU
Thank you for your generous donations that support our efforts to make Afghanistan a better country. Through contributions like yours and others, we have been able to distribute much-needed humanitarian aid to thousands of Afghan men, women and children in hospitals, schools, villages and refugee camps across this war-torn country. In addition, your generosity has also made it possible to provide a touch of home in the form of hard-to-find snacks, toiletries and other personal care and comfort supplies to our service members stationed at Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) who might not otherwise have access to these items. Of course, our main effort has been, and remains, the future of Afghanistan—the children.
